Merry Christmas from the Garofalos!

Here are a few pictures of us all ready for Christmas. If you happen to get a Christmas card, the one picture may look a little familiar. We are busily getting ready (sort of) for the big day. I'm happy to say that I did pretty much all of my shopping before the month of December came around. I will NOT go to the mall this time of year.

We will be doing the usual this year...Chesterfield, Vienna and Giles. I am already LOVING my two weeks off and know it will be very hard to go back in January.

So...uh...it has been a while!

Sorry about that folks. I didn't upload many pictures over the past two month, so I just put it off. Here are some pictures of October and November so you can see what we've been up to. It is the day after Thanksgiving and I have been busy with projects around the house. We had family here for the big day (from both sides) and our total number of diners came to 14.

I'm debating if I should go ahead and decorate for Christmas or not. Hmm... What do you think? I will do better with this...I promise.

It is September again and that can only mean one thing...BACK TO SCHOOL! I thought I would include a school picture of me from yesteryear. I think this may be one of the first years I'm excited to go back. It is definitely time for a routine again. I'm looking forward to smaller class sizes and having a student teacher.

Devin's Birthday

Devin turned 29 on Thursday. He's feeling kind of old...Poor little guy. I bought him a grown up gift...a Yankee Fat Head. He loved it and it was QUICKLY up on the wall in our "Yankee Room." Don't you just love how he dressed up to pose with Derek? Sheesh.

Our Family Blog

I thought I would become a member of the 21st century and develop a Devin/Shannon family blog. I'm not sure how great I'll be about posting on a regular basis, but I'm sure it will be a great way to keep in touch. Who knows, maybe it will be a hit.
